Sex Offender Registration Requirements
| | * Sex offenders will have three days to register with authorities instead of the seven days they previously had. People convicted of the most serious sex offenses (tier III) will be required to provide information on their whereabouts to state police every 90 days.
* Sex offenders will be required to show up in person to register and update their information with state police, allowing authorities to note changes in appearance.
* New personal information, such as Social Security numbers, e-mail addresses and vehicle registration numbers, also will be required from offenders.
