Sex Offender Registration Requirements
Juveniles who are required to register must do so 10 days prior to their arrival, by mail, and may be required to register face-to-face with local law enforcement upon their arrival. Any juvenile on supervision from another state who is required to register in that state, who is registered as a sex offender with the FBI, or on supervision from another state with an offense comparable to an offense in Wisconsin that requires registration, must register. Some juveniles with an offense that is not considered a sex offense per se may also be required to register if the offense was sexually motivated. To determine if a juvenile is required to register, contact the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program at 608-240-5830. See section 301.45 registration requirements, section 301.46 pertains to disclosure of registry information. hhp://www.legis.state.wi.us/statutes/state0301.pdf
